The Art Scene in Downtown Pomona

The Arts Colony neighborhood is a canvas for beautiful murals, sculptures and architecture. Down almost every street, you can see works of public art by local and well-known artists such as Magu Lujan, Andre Miripolsky, Millard Sheets, David Flores and many others.

The Pomona Arts Colony is also home to a multitude of museums, art galleries and artist studios. Aside from the well-known staples - like the dA Center for the Arts, the Progress Gallery, the American Museum of Ceramic Arts and the Latino Art Museum - there are also photography studios, galleries inside of restaurants and wine bars, artistic metal works and even a museum of neon art.

The downtown also boasts the Second Saturday Art Walk and many artist studios, making it a true haven for artists and art lovers alike.
